Seattle Facelift – Looking Rested vs. Operated

Seattle Facelift – Looking Rested vs. Operated

Men and women in Seattle tell Dr. Phil Haeck they are afraid that if they get a facelift (rhytidectomy), they will look like the famous movie star with an overdone look. Dr. Haeck, creator of the Northwest Natural Look(TM) explains why his facelifts are different, shares before and after photos of facelifts and tells stories of what people say to his patients who have had a facelift.

Transcript:

Hi, I’m Dr. Phil Haeck. I’m a board certified plastic surgeon, I’ve worked in Seattle for over 25 years. I’m working at the Polyclinic Plastic Surgery and today, I want to talk to you about facelifts (rhytidectomy).

I like to talk about the Northwest Natural Look when I talk about facelifts. How many patients have come to me and said “Don’t make me look like…” and insert the name of the movie star who you don’t like the looks of.

There’s a tight tight tight facelift that I don’t do. I don’t like lips that are stretched out or skin that’s so tight it looks like it’s going to fall off if you smile. I like a much more refreshed subtle look. I want my patients to feel that they look 10 to 15 years younger but they still look like themselves.

Some of my favorite stories that I’ve heard after a facelift was the first time a woman went out with the girlfriends. Everybody was looking at her but nobody really knew what was different. And finally one of her girlfriends took her aside and she was afraid the cat was out of the bag and the question was “are you getting a different kind of hair color?” Those are the kind of results I want to have with my patients. You’re utterly confident that you look better, you look younger, you may be don’t look as sad or as tired but you’re not broadcasting to everybody that you’ve had a facelift.
