Dr. Phil Haeck is a plastic surgeon who is board certified and has been practicing in Seattle for more than 25 years now. He developed his practice philosophy called the “Northwest Natural Look”. This means a soft, refreshed look, which you can definitely feel confident about.
Dr Phil Haeck completed his residency at Swedish Hospital in Seattle after receiving his bachelor’s and medical degree in Michigan State University. He had his training at Baylor College in Houston, TX where he had more extensive trainings by prestigious plastic surgeons, one of them was Dr. Frank Gerow who invented the silicone implant. Also, Dr. Haeck performed some of the very first liposuction procedures in the U.S.
Dr Haeck continued to seek opportunities for professional advancement and service in the field of plastic surgery. He served as the president of the largest, oldest and most respected association of Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons in the world, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) from October 2010 to September 2011. This position was the culmination of over twenty years of service to ASPS, including serving as the editor of Plastic Surgery News, the ASPS newsletter, for six years and chairing numerous committees.
He has published numerous articles in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has also been interviewed for his “expertise” and was published in over a hundred publications, including the New York Times, Vogue, Allure, Redbook, Glamour, the Wall Street Journal, and the LA Times.
He provided free medical care to a non-profit organization called Healing with Children where he treated children from cleft lip and palate congenital deformities, scars, ear reconstruction and even burns. While on his medical mission trips, he also visited Colombia, Latvia, and Guatemala.
Dr. Haeck has been married for 30 years with three daughters and together, they enjoy fun activities such as hiking, boating, skiing and traveling.
